February is “Love Month”

Whether you are in a relationship or not, we all deserve a little romance in our lives.

If you do not have a romantic partner right now..Use some of these tips to love yourself  -You Deserve it 🙂

Romance…. It is the stuff of legends.
The hero and heroine live happily ever after 🙂

While all relationships may not be the kind written about in trashy novels, we do all deserve a bit of romance once in a while.

Regardless of your age, gender, sexuality, or physical and mental health, you — and everyone around you — need love and affection.

There’s a scientific reason receiving love and affection feels so good. At a chemical level, feeling loved releases a burst of oxytocin. This powerful “love hormone” has been shown to have health benefits by lowering your blood pressure, stabilizing your mood, and much more.

The advantages of receiving love and affection speak for themselves. Aside from helping you to maintain positive, long-lasting relationships, your confidence and self-esteem get a major boost. You and your loved one can strengthen your bond and build greater trust.

This week spend some time with your loved one to foster that loving feeling.
Here are some things you could try…

  • Try saying “I Love You” first thing in the morning as you wake and last thing at night as you go to sleep.
  • Hold hands when out and about
  • Surprise them.  Leave a note on the bathroom mirror, or tuck one into their lunch.  Send a text throughout the day or even just call for no reason than to say “How is your day going”
  • Prepare their favourite meal or dessert
  • Offer to give a back or foot rub
  • Have regular date nights without distraction
  • Initiate sex more often 🙂

This week is Valentine’s Day

It is the time to spoil your partner just “because”

The commercialism of Valentine’s Day is over and that lovely bunch of flowers may be fading.

Don’t slip back into old habits.  Keep rekindling that relationship and deepen your love.

You might even spend this week creating a vision board just for your relationship.
